Park Place by Baumann & Baumann

On the next stop on the 2023 Parkridge Home Tour, I got to see two condo units inside of Park Place. The building was originally designed by Baumann and Baumann as Park City Junior High School in 1927. Kristopher Kendrick redeveloped it into residential condos in the 1980s. The first unit was a formerly a classroom. The second unit seemed like it might have formerly been a mechanical room, as it was mostly underground with many different levels. In traveling between the two units, I saw a peaceful courtyard and a copy of the original plans for the school. #parkridgeknox #parkridgeknoxville #knoxvilletn #baumannandbaumann
