Pace House

This spring I went on the 2024 Fourth & Gill Tour of Homes. This year there were a couple of new homes on the tour. This first home is located on the fringes of the neighborhood where it meets a more commercial area. The homeowners and designers of the house are architects. The house, not surprisingly, is contemporary in style with many details you don't see everyday in the Knoxville home scene. The main exterior materials are brick, steel and a composite vertical siding. Inside the roof rafters are exposed in the main living area with high ceilings. The other areas have a lower ceiling with the space between the roof and the main level ceiling becoming a loft space that is accessed by a ladder.
