Award-winning BBQ spot on S Dixie Hwy run by NYC Michelin-restaurant-trained pitmasters. Jamie praised the ribs (with pickled red onions), the Wagyu beef burger, and the smash burger. Julie not a fan of the beans.
Nashville-style hot chicken chain. Jamie ordered the mild level — spicy but tolerable and 'so good.' Located at 2089 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, West Palm Beach.
Jamie got a lettuce wrap hamburger with excellent fries. Active Delray location: 660 Linton Blvd (in the Whole Foods plaza). Uses 100% natural Angus beef, no antibiotics/steroids.
A go-to for Julie and Rosie. Their usual order: 10-piece wings — Rosie gets all flats with 'Gold Rush' (blonde BBQ) sauce; Julie gets buffalo well-done; both share garlic Parmesan fries. Julie also recommends the fried fish sandwich. Palm Beach Gardens: 7100 Fairway Dr.
Burger spot with standout buns. Jamie described the cheeseburger as 'meatloaf-y' — different, but not his favorite.
All-you-can-eat sushi restaurant being considered for Rosie's birthday. Priced around $35–38/person. Address: 10260 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414.
Julie wasn't a big fan of the sushi, but Jamie liked the hibachi dishes.
