Taking place Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Possum Trot 10K is a longtime Roswell summer favorite. Hosted at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, it combines scenic trails, community energy, and support for local wildlife and conservation programs.

Summer nights in Roswell done right ✨ Sunset Sips takes place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from June–September at the Chattahoochee Nature Center and combines live music, cocktails, and beautiful outdoor scenery.

A summer favorite for kids and adults alike 🦋 The Butterfly Encounter returns to the Chattahoochee Nature Center from June 8–August 28, 2026 and offers a chance to walk among hundreds of native butterflies in a beautiful outdoor setting.

The Velvet Note is less of a typical music venue and more of an intimate listening-room experience, designed around acoustics and live performance. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, guests can purchase tickets for live jazz performances while enjoying dinner, cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere that feels elevated and completely different from a larger concert venue.

Skip the usual dinner reservation and head to the river instead. Chattahoochee Nature Center hosts adults-only Date Night canoe trips on select Fridays throughout spring and summer — bring your own picnic and drinks, then enjoy a guided sunset paddle on the Chattahoochee.
