Fire Street Lofts (Daniel Briscoe Co. warehouse)

This summer I went on the 2024 Knoxville Downtown Home Tour. The first stop on the tour was two units in the Fire Street Lofts. This Old City building was built in 1925 as a warehouse for Daniel Briscoe Co. R.F. Graf & Sons were the architects (see last photo from their monograph via the Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection). In 2006 it was redeveloped into condos. The office in one of the units extends from the building and spans across an adjacent alley. #downtownknoxville #knoxvilletn #rfgraf
