Governor's Row

My next stop on the Fourth & Gill Home Tour was the other new build, which was a group of townhomes called Governor's Row. This name references the former Victorian home of Governor Robert Love Taylor that was on the site until 1985 when it burned down. The unit on the tour was three stories with the bottom level being the living space, the middle level being the main bedroom/bathroom, and the upper level being a loft/bonus room. The height of the townhomes provide them with a balcony overlooking the street. The units step up as the grade increases from the corner, and every unit is expressed individual with its own gable roof facing the street. #fourthandgill #knoxvilletn
