Gallery Lofts

Like my previous stop on the Downtown Home Tour, this building is a replacement for a building that burned in the "million dollar fire" of Gay Street in 1887. This location is where the fire started and three people died, Hotel Knox (with McNulty grocery store in the same building). After the fire, the new building still housed the McNulty grocery store. It was renovated in the early 2000s and now houses Mast General Store on the street level. This unit contains a spiral stair that leads to a roof deck with several intermediate spaces on the way.
