Khachapuri (Georgian Cheese Bread)
Khachapuri is everywhere in Georgia because the Kartveli people are very proud of it. And for good reason! This unique cheese bread (never tell a Kartveli it's like pizza) is made by making the bread from scratch and adding Georgian cheese in the middle. It is then dressed with a raw egg and some butter, all of which the diner mixes together to get a little taste of Kartveli heaven.
