After being laid off three times in three years, I founded Rhize, a free community that now connects 4300+ job seekers navigating unemployment and reinvention together. What began as me sharing job search stats and dark humor on TikTok has grown into 6M+ impressions and engagement rates 20x higher than the average online community. Today, Rhize is the largest free space for professionals in career transition, where honesty, data, and solidarity replace shame and isolation. My career started in the performing arts and evolved into a decade in operations, real estate, and business development. That blend of creativity and grit shaped my approach: build with empathy, structure, and storytelling, and keep people at the center.
