1916 Sullivan & Underwood model home, Fourth & Gill, Knoxville, TN

This is another version of the previous Sullivan and Underwood model home, a few houses down the street on the same side. This craftsman bungalow was built a year later in 1916. The two houses aren't exactly the same floor plan, with some differences from the original construction and some differences from renovations. This house had fallen into such disrepair over the years that it was condemned in 2003 and certified blighted in 2005. The City of Knoxville eventually took the house through eminent domain, and the house was offered for sale through the Homemaker's Program in 2009.
