Hammonds-Henry House

The Hammonds-Henry house was built in 1932 in the Craftsman style. It’s got battered stone piers with brick columns on top at the ends of the front porch. In the middle it’s got brick piers with tapered wood columns. The original owner of the house, S.H. Hammonds, operated the switchboard for the Concord Telephone Exchange with wife, Reatha, and daughters until a dial system was installed in 1954.
