Paul Scannell

Paul Scannell has served as Senior Vice President of the Customer Success Team (CST) of Cadence since 2024. In this role, Scannell is responsible for the Sales, Services, Field Engineering, and Customer Support teams that manage customer relationships around the world, driving customer success via the Cadence Intelligent System Design strategy. Prior to this role, he held various leadership positions in CST, including most recently leading the North America and India Field teams, driving initiatives to strengthen the company’s relationship and grow business with the top strategic accounts in those regions. Prior to joining Cadence in 2005 through the Verisity acquisition, Scannell served in key positions at Axis Systems, Synopsys and Viewlogic Systems.
