Maidenhair fern – aka adiantum raddianum – is one plant that definitely breaks the rules. In episode three of Plants With Impact, Tony Le-Britton debunks the myth that maidenhair ferns are hard to keep alive. This beautiful houseplant grows wild in South America in rock crevices and logs and is aptly named because of the fine black stems resembling human hair, which contrasts against the vibrant green foliage.
