Mayo-Ashe House

My next stop on the Fourth & Gill Home Tour was the Mayo-Ashe House, built in 1893 in the Queen Anne style. Over time it was divided into four apartments and became very deteriorated. In 1998, it was restored. The front bay window gives lots of light to the living room and upstairs bedroom. The staircase displays detailed woodwork.
