Charles Dungan House

The next house on this year's Old North tour is the Charles Dungan House, built in 1915 in the shingle style. It's front gable is unique, though there is a similar one in Park Ridge (check out my previous posts for a photo of Design No. 35-E when I did my George Barber tour of Park Ridge). Both houses have a Palladian window recessed back in the gothic arch of the front gable, though this house also has a balcony with some columns supporting the gable.
