Bonham-Duncan House

The Bonham-Duncan House was built in 1870. It is classified as East Tennessee Vernacular style. This style is two stories, with three bays of windows across the front, two rooms deep, and a wide front porch. It has similarities to Georgian or Federal style. This house has Ionic columns at the front porch. John A. Duncan, who was one of the owners of the house, had a daughter, Hazel, who married Evanna Plumadore’s grandson, Joseph D.
