Otto T. Roehl House

The next stop on the Old North Knoxville Home Tour is the Otto T. Roehl house, built in 1916. Otto owned a construction company and was also city manager, where he was worked on the Broadway Viaduct and Henley Street Bridge. This house has a concrete structure with stucco finish, which is uncommon in Knoxville. The Roehls did not live at the house long, selling it in 1917. An interesting feature put in by a previous owner is the urinal in the bathroom.
