Marc Valenzuela

Marc Valenzuela serves as the Senior Economic Development Project Manager for Salt River Project (SRP), leading initiatives to attract and expand businesses within SRP's service territory. With more than a decade of economic development experience, Marc has held key roles at the City of Mesa and Arizona State University, specializing in business attraction, retention and expansion, entrepreneurial programs, and special projects. He was selected as one of North America's Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultant Connect in 2024. SRP is a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest electricity provider in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving approximately 1.1 million customers. SRP provides water to about half of the Valley’s residents, delivering more than 244 billion gallons of water each year, and manages a 13,000-square-mile watershed that includes an extensive system of reservoirs, wells, canals and irrigation laterals.
