Ribnjak

Ribnjak Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Zagreb, located between Ribnjak Street (to the east), Zvonarička Street (to the north), and the walls of the Zagreb Cathedral and the buildings of Kaptol Street (to the south and west). The current name Ribnjak Park dates back to ancient times. Namely, the location of the current park was a private bishop's park located east of the cathedral - today's Zagreb Cathedral. There was also an artificial pond on that site that received water from the Medveščak stream. When the pond was drained, the site was landscaped and turned into a city park.
