James E. & Agnes Fair House by George F. Barber

The last house on the Old North Knoxville Home Tour is the James E. and Agnes Fair House. It was built in the Queen Anne style in 1896. It is a George F. Barber design, No. 58B in New Model Dwellings. There are lots of neat original details still inside the house (flooring, windows, fireplaces, door knobs, staircase). It was put up for sale shortly after the tour, and not surprisingly it is already under contract. Mr. Fair died in 1927 at age 80.
