Hills-DeCaro House by Frank Lloyd Wright

The Hills-DeCaro house has a connection to the Moore-Dugal house (see earlier post). The house was originally constructed in 1883 as stick style. Then Nathan G. Moore purchased it in 1900, had Frank Lloyd Wright design a remodel as a present for his daughter, and moved it further away from his house. This gave Moore a larger yard. This one also caught fire (in 1976) but was reconstructed to match the FLW design. #franklloydwright #oakparkil #prairiestylehome #architecture
