Steinfeld Mansion (First Owl's Club)

The First Owl’s Club was built in 1900, two years before the Second Owl’s Club (see previous post). This one was also designed by Henry C. Trost and also shows a combination of Mission Style and Louis Sullivan (see second picture for Sullivan’s Guaranty Building in Buffalo, NY). Once the second location was built, the 13 bachelors moved out. Albert Steinfeld bought the building in 1904 and converted it into a residence for himself. It then became known as the Steinfeld Mansion.
