The Beaches communities — Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach — run along the Atlantic coast connected by A1A. Each has its own personality. Schools fall under the Duval County system, with Fletcher High School serving the Beaches corridor. The commute to downtown runs about 25–35 minutes via J. Turner Butler Boulevard or Beach Boulevard.
