Fredrick E. McArthur House by George F. Barber

This next Parkridge Barber house, built in 1889, is also know as the Fredrick E. McArthur House. McArthur owned a local piano store (last picture is an ad for his store from Barber's American Homes via McClung Historical Collection). This house is the actual house pictured in Cottage Souvenir No. 2 as Design No. 40 (see 3rd, 4th, and 5th images from McClung).
