Thomas & Alice Dean West House

The next house on this year's Old North Holiday Tour is the Flynn House. It is a Queen Anne house built around 1905 for Alice and Thomas West. Mary B. Evans, and then her daughter, Annie Lucille, lived in the house between 1911 and 1970. Then it spent many years as apartments until 1984 when Vaughn Nave began the process of converting it back to a single family home. He won a Knox Heritage Fantastic 15 award for his work in 2012. Now a new owner has taken over the property and is doing some renovations.
