This beautiful north beach is the home of the famous Banzai Pipeline. This beach can be the most impressive, and the most dangerous in the world. The winter months is when the waves are at their highest and most powerful. During the spring and summer, the swimming is good with some of the best sandbar type surf on O'ahu. Ehukai Beach Park is a must see. There are lifeguards, picnic areas, restrooms, phones, and showers. Especially during winter months, waves may reach up to 25 feet plus. From June to September there are incidents of stinging Limu(seaweed). Check with the lifeguard regarding swimming conditions.
