Military Relocation Resources for Jacksonville

This research stack provides a well-rounded collection of resources designed to support military families navigating a Permanent Change of Station move to Jacksonville and the broader Northeast Florida region. The stack draws from official installation-level support, including the NAS Jacksonville Relocation Assistance Program, which offers PCS counseling and settling-in assistance for families reporting to the base, as well as the Coast Guard Relocation Assistance Program, which connects members and their dependents with individualized support through Transition and Relocation Managers at receiving units. Together, these resources address the practical and logistical needs of service members arriving at the area's military installations.

Beyond installation-specific support, the stack incorporates broader national and regional tools to help families prepare for and adjust to relocation. Military OneSource provides straightforward guidance on PCS entitlements and household goods shipping, while the National Military Family Association offers checklists and resources tailored to spouses and children facing a new duty station. The Northeast Florida Military and Veterans Resource Guide expands the scope further, compiling regional and national resources covering housing, healthcare, employment, education, financial and legal assistance, and mental health support for military members, veterans, and their families throughout the area.

The stack also includes a resource aimed at real estate professionals, specifically an overview of the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, which highlights the importance of specialized training for industry professionals serving current and former military clients. This addition is useful for families seeking qualified real estate guidance during their move. Taken together, the resources in this stack offer a practical, multi-layered foundation for anyone coordinating or supporting a military relocation to the Jacksonville area.
