Product Description Elevation ® Flood Test Tape is recommended for use during flood testing of installed Elevation ® Waterproofing Systems. Manufactured with a Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Film backing and high-performance solvent-based acrylic adhesive, it creates an instant, durable, water-resistant bond. The tape conforms to irregular surfaces, ensuring a superior seal. Once flood testing is complete, the tape is easily pierced using a putty knife, reducing the risk of damage to the waterproof system. Instructions General Surface Prep Ensure the surface is clean, dry and structurally sound. Repair any unstable areas. Remove dust, dirt, oil, grease, and contaminants. Address excess moisture if necessary. Avoid extreme conditions. Installation of Product 1. Clean and dry the waterproofing membrane where the tape will be applied 2. Apply tape spanning the T-Bar and waterproofing membrane, pressing tape firmly onto surfaces, ensuring complete contact. 3. Seal edges by pressing down with a roller to ensure a full bond. 4. Conduct the Flood Test as required 5. After testing, pierce the tape carefully with a putty knife to release trapped water. Storage & Handling • Store at 70 o F / 21 o C with 50% RH. • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. • Shelf Life of 12 months from date of manufacture.
