Description Recommended Uses Packaging Data Sheets Description The Integrated Railing Leveling Shim is a component designed to assist in leveling the railing post base on sloped or uneven deck surfaces. In Direct Mount installations, the leveling plate is placed between the post mounting flange and the deck surface, and leveling bolts allow fine-tuned alignment. For Stanchion Mount installations, shims compensate for minor surface irregularities at the post base. Key details include Allows precise leveling of post base on sloped or uneven surfaces; Recommended for both Direct Mount and Stanchion Mount installations; Ensures full bearing contact between post base and substrate; Fine-tune alignment with leveling bolts (Direct Mount). This component is an accessory within the Integrated Railing System. Structural performance testing was conducted on the complete railing assembly (Intertek Report P2566.01-119-19 R0, dated 11/16/22).
