Founded in 1986, The Auxiliary of The William Breman Jewish Home contributes valuable volunteer and financial resources to further the mission of the Jewish HomeLife care network. Donate Jewish HomeLife provides high quality healthcare and wellness services to older adults throughout all stages of aging. In addition, JHL offers education and support to their families and the community in an engaging, caring and dignified manner consistent with our Jewish heritage and values. This mission never waivers despite challenges to meet the needs of our community’s most frail elderly, who may not be able to afford the care they desperately need. Steeped in Jewish values, Jewish HomeLife’s mission is to provide quality care regardless of ability to pay. Each day, our volunteers bring joy, cheer, diverse interests and life experiences into our network of care – and more importantly – into the lives of our residents, clients, families and patients. Volunteers contribute to the quality of life throughout the Jewish HomeLife network and play a key role in making our communities and our services so extraordinary. What You Get It’s no doubt our volunteers benefit everyone they touch within our network. So, we strive to return the favor offering valuable experiences for them. By volunteering, you can make good use of your unique gifts and talents. Whether you have a few hours a week or one hour a month, there is a volunteer opportunity for you within the Jewish HomeLife Network. And if you’re a student interested in gaining practical experience in aging services or a teen who needs to fulfill a community service requirement for school, we can work together to make your experience rewarding and educational.
