## Getting Started with Stacklist: Create Your First Stack

Stacklist helps you curate, organize, and share collections of links, notes, and knowledge in public stacks.

### What is a Stack?
A stack is a curated collection of cards (links, notes, or markdown content) organized around a theme or topic. Stacks can be private or public, and public stacks can be featured on your profile to build authority and get discovered.

### How to Create a Stack
1. Click "Create Stack" in the sidebar
2. Give it a clear, specific name (30-48 characters works best)
3. Add a description explaining what's inside and who it's for
4. Choose a category that matches your content
5. Set it to public if you want it discovered
6. Add your first cards

### Naming Your Stack
Use a name that front-loads the real topic:
- Good: "Tokyo Coffee Roasters and Cafes"
- Avoid: "Coffee," "My List," or vague labels

### Adding Cards
Once your stack exists, add cards by:
- Pasting URLs (we auto-extract title, image, description)
- Writing markdown notes directly
- Adding images and tags manually

### Making Your Stack Discoverable
To get found by search engines and AI crawlers:
- Make it public
- Add at least one card
- Feature it on your profile
- Write a clear description (70-160 characters)
- Add 3-8 consistent tags
- Annotate each card with a one-line note explaining why it belongs
