LEARN MORE ABOUT THE MUSEUM know before your visit Graveface Museum rules/guidelines (please read) Graveface Museum Rules & Guidelines Please be respectful; we strive to create a welcoming, safe, and pleasant environment (despite some of the unpleasant topics) for everyone so please respect the space and fellow visitors. We exhibit original, one-of-a-kind artifacts that come with some incredible history— please don’t touch the non-interactive exhibits or pet the adorable taxidermy. Same rules apply to kiddos. Absolutely no vaping/smoking/tobacco products inside. No food or drinks EXCEPT twist-top/travel water bottles. No application or spraying of cologne, perfume, or other scented products inside No phone calls/FaceTime, please keep phones silent or quiet No large backpacks, tote bags, or oversized purses within the museum; you may be asked to leave your bag behind the counter. Please leave your oversized bags at home or your hotel. No weapons/firearms allowed inside We reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone who is intoxicated, impaired and/or may be a risk to the artifacts within the museum, other visitors, or themselves. Photography is welcome and encouraged !** We swap out exhibits frequently and there’s a lot to see so if you want to photograph anything during your visit that’s cool with us. ** NO photo/video in the GG Allin exhibit only. Video cameras are also acceptable as long as your filming does not interfere with our guides doing their jobs or guests enjoying their experience. If you’re asked to stop filming at any point (someone might not want to be on film) please comply. This is completely up to you as a parent. About 50% of the museum deals with true crime. We cover some heavy topics and some imagery within the museum may be disturbing but a lot of the more mature topics can be circumvented pretty easily. The GG Allin exhibit is the only strictly 18+ exhibit. Our Ed Gei n exhibit is strongly not recommended for children but up to parental discretion. The Ed Gein exhibit is not accessible to anyone wi thout be ing guided by a staff member so your kiddo won’t just stumble in there and if you want to avoid it you can easily. We've had a range of all ages enjoy the museum and we pride ourselves on being an objective place to learn about dark topics within recent history; we’re not trying to scare anyone of any age. That being said, any child in the mu seum is expected to conduct themselves like everyone else. Interrupting the tour guides, touching exhibits, running, or otherwise being disruptive to other visitors won 't be to lerated and you may be asked to leave until your child can regain their composure. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: I can't find you, where are you located? (Savannah) We are located at 410 E. Lower Factors Walk which is the cobblestone alley behind River Street. If you’re walking from Bay St. you can cut through Emmet Park and take the stairs, if you’re coming from River Street, look for the store “Shell Yeah”, you’ll see our sign on the corner of their building along the alley (that’s the alley we’re in) Watch this video if you don’t want to read: HOW TO FIND US VIDEO Do I need to buy tickets in advance? Nope, they are available at the door as well and there’s no difference to us. We also offer discounts for students, seniors (65+), and locals (with valid Chatham County ID). These discounts are only available for in-person purchase. what time do you stop selling tickets? We sell our last ticket 45 minutes before close. The museum takes at least 1.5 hours to go through on average though many people spend longer. All tickets are valid for entry at the time of purchase (or at the time of in-person redemption of online tickets) AND our following business day so if you come late, you can return the following day if you wish. All tickets are non-transferrable Why so much Gacy stuff? Because the owners have been independently researching the case for the past 10-12 years. In searching for answers to the many loose ends of the case, they ended up with collections from people who were closest to the case and Gacy personally (including his sister, former detectives, the prosecutor, closest friends, and countless penpals. We discuss the research, findings, and stories that have come along with these items in the exhibit; the Gacy exhibit is always staffed by an exceptional docent to fill you in and answer any questions you have. In the meantime, you can learn more here Is anything going to jump out at me? No. We’re not a haunted house but if you’re super jumpy and want to mentally prepare, there’s one aspect of the H.H. Holmes exhibit that catches people off guard. Our guides/ticket taker can give you specifics if you’d like but we don’t want to publicly spoil the surprise. IS THIS PLACE HAUNTED? Of course it is.
