Let's be honest about what Lane Kiffin really did, because "left for a rival" doesn't come close to covering it. Ole Miss went 11-1 last season and locked up the first College Football Playoff bid in program history. Two days after the Rebels wrapped that run with an Egg Bowl win, Kiffin was on a private jet to LSU. He then asked to stay on and coach Ole Miss through the playoff anyway, and when athletic director Keith Carter turned him down, he threatened to take his offensive staff to Baton Rouge on the spot unless he got what he wanted, turning his own assistants into bargaining chips against the program he was walking away from. The players found out and confronted him. Several of them later spoke out publicly and flatly disputed his account. Roughly half the staff went with him anyway, along with a handful of players. Ole Miss's own AD eventually said outright that Kiffin worked behind the scenes to damage the program on his way out. Now at LSU, his latest storyline is trying to put players who spent time in NFL camps, including some who actually appeared in NFL preseason games, on his college roster, a loophole no one else in the sport is even trying. Kiffin has always been a provocateur. This is simply the most complete version of it, and on Saturday he walks back into the stadium he left behind.

That's the setting for the weekend's best game. To the board.

**TRADE 1: LSU vs. Ole Miss**

The entire offseason has been leading to this one. Kiffin bolted Ole Miss for LSU over the winter, and on Saturday he returns to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford to face the program he just walked out on, with College GameDay on site and the Magnolia Bowl trophy at stake. Both teams are undefeated, No. 7 LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss, and Kalshi has it about as tight as it gets: LSU at 55 cents, Ole Miss at 47. LSU has the stronger résumé to date, ranking No. 1 nationally in total defense and No. 3 in total offense, with 12 sacks through two games and a run defense that has surrendered only 36 rushing yards all year. But no one alive knows this Ole Miss roster better than the guy who assembled most of it. Kiffin recruited Trinidad Chambliss and a big share of the players who'll line up against him Saturday night. It's a résumé game and a mind game rolled into one, and the market truly can't decide which side wins out.

**TRADE 2: New York Giants vs. Los Angeles Rams**

Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium matters more than a typical Week 3 game. The Rams came into the season as the betting market's Super Bowl favorite, then dropped their opener to the 49ers in Melbourne and lost Myles Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year they acquired this offseason, to season-ending knee surgery. For a "favorite," that's about as rough a six-day stretch as it gets. Even so, Kalshi still has Los Angeles as a heavy favorite, with Giants contracts trading around 24 cents, so the market has hardly flinched despite a real blow to the roster. The Giants aren't the easy out this line suggests, either. They knocked off Dallas in Week 1, and quarterback Jaxson Dart, the MVP value name we pointed to last week, described this matchup exactly as it is: "a great test for our team." A banged-up favorite at home against a team fresh off the win nobody saw coming. This line ought to be more nervous than it is.

**TRADE 3: Pro Baseball Champion 2026**

There's a real pricing puzzle sitting at the top of the World Series market. The Dodgers are the clear Kalshi favorite at roughly 32 to 33 cents, more than twice the price of the next team. That next team is Milwaukee, at around 11 to 12 cents, even though the Brewers have the best run differential in baseball and have matched LA's record stride for stride all year. Two teams separated by next to nothing in the standings are separated by almost three times the price on the board. That gap is all reputation. The Dodgers have won two straight titles and the market keeps paying extra for the crown, while Milwaukee keeps outplaying them game by game without getting any credit for it. The postseason will settle this the only way it can: on the field, not the futures board. Until then, the Brewers are still the best team nobody wants to back.

That's the bell. Kiffin gets his grudge match, the Rams learn what a $12.5 billion price tag is worth without their best defender, and the Dodgers keep collecting a premium Milwaukee has arguably already earned. Have a great weekend. Saturday night in Oxford could be the best game of the season so far.
