Everyone understands the premise that 3PL costs are just one variable, and to make a good decision you need to consider other factors. But still time and time again, people go for the cheapest option. Yahli Malchin made a different decision for Wayve Wear. He chose a more expensive option based on unquantifiable characteristics. 1. Are they genuine? 2. Are they a good fit for me specifically? 3. How much do they care? 4. Who are the employees? 5. Is their facility clean? 6. Do I trust them to execute? 7. How often can I visit them? Really excited with the result and happy to be a part of Wayve's growth. public_profile__reactions 15 Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Yahli Malchin liked this Report this post Yahli Malchin liked this Ahmed Siddiqui Ahmed Siddiqui 2mo Yahli Malchin liked this An NBA player sent me a LinkedIn message after reading my first book. I almost didn't take the meeting. Mason Plumlee played for the Charlotte Hornets. He had no payments background. No fintech angle. Just a problem he couldn't solve and a book that made him think someone might understand it. His problem was this: he's one of the most generous people I've ever met, but he never carries cash. And in a world where cash is disappearing, spontaneous generosity is getting harder. How do you pay for a stranger's groceries when you don't have your wallet on you? How do you tip the flight attendant who went out of her way when there's no card terminal in the aisle? I sat there on that Google Meet call thinking — this guy just identified something the entire payments industry had missed. We had spent decades building infrastructure for the receiver of payments. Nobody had thought carefully about the giver. What he built to solve that problem became Chapter 1 of The Evolution of the Swipe. I'll let you read it when the book comes out. public_profile__reactions 158 9 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Yahli Malchin liked this Report this post Yahli Malchin liked this Janice L. I can’t wait to be part of building a credit system that gives millions of people a shot at the financial system. It’s been an awesome 3.5 years at Marqeta. I’m grateful for the people I met and all that I learned related to payments, cards, and banking. It’s the perfect foundation for what’s next! 237 38 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Yahli Malchin liked this Report this post Yahli Malchin liked this Keyan Bazargan Keyan Bazargan 11mo Yahli Malchin liked this Last night I spoke to over 150 SDSU students taking a supply chain course. Everything I've learned so far about supply chain has been through mentorship and generosity from others, so I will always be kind and willing to pass along knowledge. The global supply ecosystem is supported by entrepreneurs, designers, manufacturers, marketers, warehouse operators, analysts, sales people, truckers, brokers, buyers, engineers, producers, software developers, technicians etc. and once you develop an understanding of the pieces you can't help but appreciate the complexity and impact. The good news is that they are actually going to save a lot more (94k / year) and the solution is going to be very elegant. The bad news is that we are still 1-2 weeks away from everything being fully implemented. I strive to be accountable and do my best to underpromise so that I can overdeliver. In this case, I overpromised on speed due to optimism and not baking in enough buffer. Lesson learned. Iron Margin is a finance and operations agency to help e-commerce brands doing $1-50M in sales reduce costs and build a strong supply chain. I've learned a tremendous amount during my time at Freak Athlete under Benji Stark-Elster 's leadership, and I'm ready to share this hard fought knowledge with other e-commerce brands. To keep things very tactical early on, I am taking on a maximum of 3 brands starting May 1st when I officially launch. If you know any founders or operations leaders at $1-$50M e-commerce companies, please feel free to make an intro. Thank you everyone! public_profile__reactions 128 31 Comments Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Yahli Malchin liked this Report this post Yahli Malchin liked this Omer Malchin Omer Malchin 2y Yahli Malchin liked this secure your spot → https://bitly.cx/sCAd Join me for a captivating fireside chat with Marc Randolph, Co-founder and ex-CEO of Netflix! Recommendations received John Colford “I had the pleasure of working closely with Yahli at NEXT and was constantly impressed by his work. He was agile and could handle any assignment, from quick data analyses to deep-dives that resulted in structural improvements to the product. He went out of his way to make life easier for other colleagues. For example, he proactively wrote a Python script that ended up being used by multiple teams for a process that was previously done manually. Perhaps most impressive though was Yahli's ability to quickly grasp the complexities of the insurance product; not long into his rotation, he could serve as a subject matter expert on the product for other members of the company. He would make an outstanding addition to any team, and I would be happy to chat with anyone interested in learning more about Yahli's work.” Suzanne DuFore “Yahli joined my team to learn the art of UX research and he absolutely blew me away with his ability to learn and adapt and grow into an intensely valuable team member in a matter of a few months. He went from observing to assisting to managing his own projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of the customer, expressing that empathy in his analysis, and earning the admiration of the teams who were grateful for his insights. He is a sponge. He absorbs it all and immediately knows how to apply it. And, most importantly, he is a kind and thoughtful human being.” 2 people have recommended Yahli Join now to view View Yahli’s full profile See who you know in common Get introduced Contact Yahli directly Join to view full profile Other similar profiles Haitong Tao Haitong Tao ByteDance 2K followers New York, NY View Profile Anushka Pandhare Anushka Pandhare Censia 1K followers Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex View Profile Xin(Stacy) Xu Xin(Stacy) Xu Google 2K followers Greater Seattle Area View Profile Ari Aiken Ari Aiken Slalom 1K followers New York, NY View Profile Nilakshi Garg Nilakshi Garg Moveworks 1K followers Bengaluru View Profile Jay Patel Jay Patel GroupM 1K followers New York City Metropolitan Area View Profile Winnie Yu Winnie Yu Toyota North America 1K followers Los Angeles Metropolitan Area View Profile Rachel Yang Rachel Yang Blueland 727 followers Los Angeles Metropolitan Area View Profile Aniket Shinde Aniket Shinde Stripe 2K followers New York City Metropolitan Area View Profile Explore more posts Drew F. Founded by Sophia Cheng, ex-Estée Lauder exec, Oddball makes better-for-you, plant-based jelly cups with agar, a seaweed-based gelling agent, each with a full serving of fruit and no sugar, gelatin, or preservatives. The recipes were developed in collaboration with a Michelin-starred chef, blending clean ingredients with culinary precision. The brand’s mission is clear: bring back the fun of fruit snacks in a cleaner, modern form - and maybe take a bite out of Jell-O, the 126-year-old Kraft Heinz icon. Once nearing $1B in sales, Jell-O has slipped to around ~$700M as tastes shift and new challengers move in. 108 15 Comments <div class="base-aside-card__media flex-shrink-0 mr-0.5 overflow-hidden r
