Show/Hide The Legacy Park athletic complex has closed as workers expand the parking area, make other upgrades. | READ MORE | SEE PROGRESS The City of Milton owns and maintains numerous active parks and facilities - used for sports and other programs and activities - as well as passive preserves, where people enjoy nature without development,  fields or buildings. All of these parks and facilities belong to Milton residents and serve as great showcases of the city's love of the outdoors. For an interactive map of all City parks and facilities, CLICK HERE . Using this map, you can see which facilities and features -- such as fields, fishing, playgrounds, trails, picnic spots, and more -- are available at different locales. City-affiliated program providers use these active facilities on a regular basis. Individuals and groups can also rent them out, availability permitting. In April 2022, the City opened the first of what will eventually be several trails winding through the "passive" part of Milton City Park and Preserve -- a 2.5-mile loop (or 1.25 miles each way).
