# Fruit Cove Middle School

Open Clever ParentSquare Schoology for Families Students use Clever to access Schoology, Microsoft 365, and other links for students. For online textbooks, students in grades 6-8 use Schoology. Parents use ParentSquare for school communication and Schoology to keep track of schoolwork. Uniforms Purchase a P.E. Uniform Examples of uniform sizing will be available during the Meet the Teacher event on August 6, 2026. PE uniforms will not be distributed until the second week of school. Attendance We are excited to introduce ParentSquare as a new way for parents to report student absences. Parents can even upload documentation such as doctor’s notes, appointment confirmations, or other related forms. This change is intended to make it easier and more convenient for families to submit the information needed when a student is absent. Once documentation is submitted through ParentSquare, it will be printed and then securely deleted by our Attendance Clerks after it has been processed. If a student is unable to attend school, upon returning, the parent/guardian must complete an online attendance form, BELOW, or submit a note within 48 hours stating the date of the absence, the specific reason for the absence, and have the parent/guardian’s signature. Emails and phone calls are not accepted as notification of absence. FortifyFL FortifyFL is a mobile app and web-based tool that allows students, parents, and community members in Florida to anonymously report suspicious activities, potential threats, or safety concerns related to schools. The app immediately forwards these reports to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials for rapid response. School Access School access (proceeding past the front office of any school) is required for every individual that is not a staff member of the St. Johns County School District. This is done through completion of the district’s volunteer application . School access is good for 3 years.
