It features a UV-stabilized adhesive that prevents melting to surfaces and allows for easy removal after application. T-Guard Tape is 4.5” wide to complete cover most T-Bars. It maintains the original finish and prevents contamination and discoloration throughout the project. It’s manufactured with a special adhesive which is easy to apply, adheres well, and is easy to remove without residue. Applications: Protects T-Bar facing during construction preserving the original surface. Prevents contamination from alkaline runoff, dirt, paint, etc. Ensures efficient and clean removal. Performance Data: T-Guard Tape is designed to offer high performance for temporary surface protection. The tape’s UV resistance ensures performance up to 60 days in outdoor or high-exposure environments, while its special adhesive remains easy to remove without leaving residue. Application Instructions: Surface Preparation : Ensure surface is clean, dry and free of dust or contamination. Wipe surfaces with Acetone or Alcohol to remove manufacturing oils prior to applying T-Guard Tape. Application : Roll the tape over the T-Bar or surface with light, even pressure across the surface. Removal : After project is completed, gently peel back the tape. The special adhesive allows clean removal without transferring adhesive or damaging surfaces. Limitations: Not intended for long-term outdoor use or applications where prolonged exposure to high UV radiation is expected. Do not apply to surfaces that are wet or contaminated, as this may affect adhesion performance.
