Apart from cooking it as what it is, it can also be transformed into a delicious sweet. This Kuvaleachi Doce recipe aims to make the process easier— from the chopping to the cooking. \nChoose the right Kuvalo. The ripe (mature) ones obtain a natural powdery white, ash-like coating on their skin. Usually, the doce calls for a lot of sugar, since sugar helps in hardening and preserving the sweet. However, I’ve noticed that, it then becomes extremely sweet for consumption.
