# Improving Inbound Call Closure Rates

paolo trivellato @paolo_scales We recently started closing 35-40% of inbound calls on the first call. Here's everything we do to make that happen: 1. Pull objections directly from call transcripts and turn them into posts After every sales call we run the transcript through Claude and ask it to extract every objection, hesitation, and question that came up. Then we turn each one into a LinkedIn post that addresses it directly before the next prospect ever gets on a call. Every post sits in a spreadsheet next to the specific objection it was built to destroy: - "does this work for my niche" objection → multi-case study post to show it doesn't matter - "i've tried this before and it didn't work" objection → mechanism post explaining why most people fail "i can't justify the price" objection → ROI breakdown post with real client numbers "i need to think about it" objection → urgency post about the cost of waiting If 8 out of 10 prospects raise the same hesitation, that hesitation becomes a post. By the time the next person books, they've already seen the answer in their feed. 2. Send them to a pre-call page the moment they book The booking confirmation email doesn't just have the calendar invite. It links to a page we built specifically for people who just booked a call. On it we have: - A short welcome video explaining exactly what the call covers and what to expect - Also asking them to accept the calendar invite immediately so the slot is locked in - Our most relevant case studies and results - An FAQ section built entirely from the most common questions we get on calls The whole call shifts from explaining what we do to figuring out how to do it for them specifically. 3. Personalise your weekly case study post based on who booked that week Mid-week, look at everyone who booked a call in the last 7 days. What industry are most of them in. What's the most common challenge they listed on the Calendly form. What objection keeps coming up. Then pick the case study that maps most closely to that profile and make it the social proof post you publish that week. For example, if you booked 6 agency owners that week, you publish the agency case study. A bit more manual but it will make a huge difference, especially if people see a post they're extremely receptive to right before the call. 4. Send trust-building content between booking and the call The moment someone books we start a pre-call sequence. (NOT just reminder emails) Day 1: a case study of a client in the exact same situation they're in Day 2: a YouTube video walking through the full system Day 3: a specific post that addresses the objection we know they're most likely to have based on their Calendly answers Day of call: a soft reminder that feels personal, not automated Implement these 4 things and your close rate will EXPLODE 5:25 PM · Aug 4, 2026 4K Views 4 54 130
