Instead, we use agricultural rock wool, a soilless substrate made from basaltic rock derived from the lava of volcanoes. Rock wool is lightweight, chemically inert, and pH-stable, making it an excellent choice for soilless farming. Its superior water retention and ideal air-to-water ratio provide roots with access to both moisture and oxygen, promoting optimal plant growth.
