CAVES OF HELLA Enter the magical underworld of the South Iceland 's  Hidden World Guided one hour tours in English of five mysterious man-made caves.  We enter three caves and peer into two.    Tours in English every day at 10 :00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.  Private tours and group tours by appointment. Tours in Icelandic first Saturday every month at 14:00.  ​ Admission fee: Adults 6.950 ISK Children (6-15) 2.850 ISK Children (0-5) FREE Family offer for 2 adults and 2 children (6-15) 15.900 ISK Free Parking. Ample bus parking available. Please note that it is not possible to visit the Caves without guidance.  ​ ​M an-made caves have been discovered on the land of Ægissíða by Hella on the South coast of Iceland. Five of them are included in our daily, guided tours. We enter three caves and peer into two. The historical site is Iceland's oldest still standing archaeological remains. Some believe the caves to date even further back than the settlement of the Nordic Vikings.   The wonders of the Caves of Hella include ancient crosses, wall carvings and carved seats. Mystery surrounds the caves and for centuries people have wondered: Are the caves the handiwork of the Celts? Were the caves a place of ancient worship?
