# We got DOOM running inside a HubSpot deal record.

Anze Koprivec 14h Report this post We got DOOM running inside a HubSpot deal record. Not a screenshot — the actual game, rendering live at ~20fps, inside a CRM card. It started as a joke. It turned into the most useful thing we've shipped on HubSpot this year. Here's why 👇 HubSpot UI Extensions are imo the best thing that has happened in the last 2 years. But every partner who's built one hits the same wall: you only get HubSpot's components. Buttons, tables, stats, tags. No canvas. No custom visuals. No way to draw the thing the client actually asked for. So when a client wants an org chart, a relationship map, a route, a custom chart the only answer has always been "HubSpot can't show that in the record." DOOM was us proving that wall isn't real. If you can render a 3D game frame-by-frame inside a card, you can render anything. So we pointed the same engine at a real sales problem 👇 A Buying Committee Map. A live picture of every stakeholder on a deal — champion, economic buyer, blocker, the people you've never actually spoken to — drawn straight from your CRM associations. Click a name to see their influence and exactly where your relationship coverage has gaps. This doesn't replace HubSpot's components. The custom map sits on one side, native HubSpot tiles, tags and stats on the other. Extend the component set, don't fight it. If there's a view you've been told is impossible in HubSpot — send it over. We've probably already drawn something weirder. …more 74 26 Comments Like Comment Share Copy LinkedIn Facebook X Fruzsina Peti 4h Report this comment that's super nice! I checked a tool like this like a year ago, but it was only available in Enterprise packages - which Hubs could this be used with? really useful for anyone doing enterprise sales Like Reply 1 Reaction Bastien Daumas Automation | Building AI-powered systems that save B2B teams ~60+ hrs/mo. 8h Report this comment Somewhere a HubSpot PM is deciding whether to be proud or to ship a patch. I've built UI extension cards that struggled to render a table without timing out, and you've got DOOM at 20fps in a deal record. What's actually carrying it, a custom card iframe or something less sanctioned? Like Reply 1 Reaction Kevin Ceja 4h Report this comment This is exactly the kind of innovation that makes HubSpot so exciting right now. Imagine combining this with ABM, lead scoring, buying intent signals, and stakeholder engagement data in a single visual layer. The possibilities for enterprise sales and deal strategy are huge. Very cool work 👏🏼 Like Reply 2 Reactions 3 Reactions Bob Weishar 3h Report this comment I would sign up for Hubspot today if Doom was included (no offense to your influence map). Like Reply 1 Reaction Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah 10h Report this comment This is a brilliant way to challenge platform limitations. Using DOOM as the proof is fun, but the Buying Committee Map is the real innovation turning complex relationship data into something sales teams can understand and act on instantly. 👏 Like Reply 1 Reaction Peter Sterkenburg 10h Report this comment No tech is validated until you can run Doom in it 😂 Like Reply 1 Reaction 2 Reactions See more comments To view or add a comment, sign in
