# YouTube Agent Boosts Views Using Claude Code + Hermes

Max Mitcham 3h Report this post I built a YouTube agent that's now getting me more views than LinkedIn, using Claude Code + Hermes. I've gone from 30(ish) views per video up to around 1,000. I've leaned hard into YouTube this year because the conversions are way higher than any other social. The problem was time (Its a new social with little reward to start with) so I needed it to research, script, and optimise every video properly, so I built an agent to do the parts I keep skipping. Here's what it actually does 👇 1. Taps into multiple socials through Trigify.io to find what's trending inside my niche. 2. Once it locks onto a hot topic, it researches how others are covering it on YouTube so I'm not repeating what's already saturated. 3. Writes me a script, not word for word, since I hate reading off a page, more a guide on what to actually focus on. 4. Edits the video through Tella 's MCP without me doing much at all. 5. Generates two thumbnails with ChatGPT 's image model so I can test which one pulls. 6. Writes the description with chapters, plus multiple title options for testing.
