Coffee & breakfast in the car. Fuel up before you leave town. 
7:15 AM Tunnel View 
Parking lot on the LEFT after exiting the tunnel. Morning light on El Cap & Half Dome. 
7:45 AM Bridalveil Fall 
Quick walk to the base. Short paved trail. 
8:30 AM Park ONCE — Yosemite Village or Curry Village 
Use shuttles & bikes from here for the rest of the day. 
9:00–11:00 Lower Yosemite Fall Loop 
1 mi, flat, paved. Closest big waterfall in the Valley. 
11:00 AM Visitor Center & Museum 
Indian Village behind the museum is worth the detour. 
12:00 PM Lunch 
Degnan's Kitchen in Yosemite Village, OR cooler lunch in Cook's Meadow with the Half Dome view. 
1:30 PM Mirror Lake Loop 
2–5 mi, mostly flat. Older kids → full loop. Younger ones → turn around at the lake. River access along the way. 
4:00 PM Sentinel Beach or Cathedral Beach 
Wildflowers, swimming, fewer crowds. Good wind-down before the drive. 
5:30 PM Drive out via Northside Drive (one-way) 
Stops: El Capitan Meadow (climbers on the wall) · Valley View (last pullout, Merced foreground). 
7:00 PM Back in Oakhurst — Dinner 
South Gate Brewing or Pizza Factory. 
Bring: water, layers, sunscreen, snacks, swim stuff for the beach stop, cash for tip at dinner.
