MARY'S GA Featuring Seagle's Cafe and Saloon The Riverview Hotel and Seagle's Cafe & Saloon are the perfect combination for your island vacation getaway beach adventure. You really get an all inclusive package choosing us as your place to lay your head for the duration of your stay while in Historic St Marys in beautiful southern Georgia. The historic Riverview Hotel rests on the banks of the St. Marys River, and is the Hotel nearest to the Cumberland Island Ferry and Visitor Center for Cumberland Island National Seashore .  Relax on the veranda overlooking one of the main streets (Osborne St, home to the Cumberland Island Musem and the Visitor center) and enjoy the view across the St. Marys River to Cumberland Island and Fernandina Beach.  Seagles Restaurant is open for lunch Friday - Monday at 11:00am - 4:00pm, and dinner is nightly from 5:00pm - 10:00pm. Captain Seagle's Saloon (including a non-smoking Speak-Easy) is open for dinner nightly, and offers live music on Wednesdays - Sundays, and open mic every third Tuesday!  Directly Across from the Cumberland Island Ferry Cumberland Island is St. Marys barrier island, and is a National Seashore Wildlife Park.  The ferry departs directly across the street from the Riverview taking visitors and campers to the island. The island beach is 22 miles long, with pristine white sand dunes that are dotted with palm trees and littered with sea shells. See feral horses, sea turtle habitat, and a plethora of wildlife. It is by far the most popular excursion for hotel guests. Enjoy camping, hiking, beaches, and plenty of historic areas of interest. Ferry departs twice daily. 9:00 am and 11:45 am.  877-860-6787 We offer sack lunches for the island, whether guests at the hotel or not: $15.00/ea      You have choice of ham, turkey, or chicken (with an assortment of condiments, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich, a choice of fruit (orange, apple, or banana), and options on beverages. They also come with chips if you'd like. Everything is prepared in a cooler bag and held in our walk-in until ready to pick up just before your island adventure!
