I tried it and landed 12 interviews in 24 hours. Here are the prompts:๐Ÿ‘‡ 1. Find Your 20 Job Titles Upload your resume into ChatGPT first, then run this. Paste to ChatGPT: "Act as a senior recruiter. Based on my resume, list the 20 job titles I'm most qualified for, and the exact keywords ATS systems scan for in each one." Now you know what you're a fit for and what the screening bots are hunting for. 2. Build The Master Resume Stay in the same chat. This becomes the base you tailor in seconds. Paste to ChatGPT: "Rewrite my resume into a master template I can tailor instantly. Use the Google XYZ formula, and strip every red flag a hiring manager spots in under 10 seconds." 3. Turn On Agent Mode Here's the trick that makes the rest work. Tap: the "+" next to the message box โ†’ turn on Agent mode. Now ChatGPT can open LinkedIn and Indeed itself instead of just talking about them. 4. Build The Job Spreadsheet It goes and finds every match, then organises them for you. Paste to ChatGPT: "Go to LinkedIn and Indeed, find every job matching these titles posted in the last 7 days, and build me a spreadsheet with the link, a match score, and a custom tailored resume version for each one." 5. My match score did not predict the response. Was fun experimenting though. Over time, GPT was seen nominal work, and my interaction with it became less meaningful. The human-in-the-loop still takes precedent if accuracy is a simultaneous goal. I want the interview; I donโ€™t want to backpedal on where AI embellished or undersold my experience beyond the point of recognition, which Iโ€™ve seen it do in nearly every instance. Now, for the search itself!? Heck yeah. Iโ€™m doing that on the regular.
