Integration 
Hold Point: Scupper-membrane integration must be inspected before drainage mat is placed. 
Scupper Pre-Set (before membrane) 
[ ] Scupper box is set and fastened before any membrane is installed 
[ ] Scupper elevation matches the finished deck slope: no low spots at scupper perimeter 
[ ] Flange is flat and flush with the substrate: no rocking or lifting 
[ ] Scupper opening is the correct size for the drainage area it serves 
[ ] Scupper is at the correct height to receive the membrane flange and still drain freely 
Membrane Integration 
[ ] Membrane field layer laps over the scupper flange a minimum of 3 in. 
[ ] Membrane is fully adhered over the flange: no lifting or bridging at the flange perimeter 
[ ] Membrane is cut cleanly at the scupper throat: no material blocking the opening 
[ ] Membrane shingles into the scupper opening: upper layer over lower layer, water runs with the
lap 
[ ] No exposed flange: membrane covers the full flange on all four sides 
Throat and Outlet 
[ ] Scupper throat is clear: no membrane scraps, debris, or tools blocking drainage 
[ ] Scupper outlet is free: confirms drainage path is open to the exterior 
[ ] Scupper leader or downspout connection is confirmed before flood test
