# Series A Founders Sushi: IRL Is Back

Andrew Boos 3mo Report this post On Tuesday we hosted about 30 Series A+ founders at my home for a catered sushi feast - thanks to my co-hosts Lisa Yu at 99VC & Conor Brennan-Burke at Hyperspell for making it happen! This one was so well-attended that I did NOT get any leftovers afterwards :( Some fascinating discussions around GTM now that the tech world is completely changed (and changing faster every month) One big recurring theme --> IRL is back! (In Real Life) or in-person events and meetings I even spoke to one company that has an elite team on the ground in SF that orchestrates 10-15 private dinners every WEEK (yes most nights have multiple in parallel) My conclusion: GTM is all about building trust, and IRL is the best way to do that. TLDR: Shut your laptop, cancel the zoom calls and get out of the house more, even if it means getting on a plane for the major relationships.
