Whether you’re interested in addressing a specific aspect of your game, or playing on Palm Beach’s premier courts, PGA National Resort’s Racquet Club is renowned as one of Florida’s best tennis resorts. With all of the Tennis Pro Shop services, the PGA National Resort Racquet Club is a championship experience for tennis lovers. Our Program The racquets program at PGA National Resort is unmatched. With 16 Har-Tru tennis courts (11 lit for night play), 12 pickleball and pop tennis courts, and a full-size hard court with a hitting wall, we are ready for a set day or night. Participate in various leagues or let the professionals teach you lessons — available for children and adults. POP Tennis The perfect activity for the entire family to enjoy. POP Tennis™ thoroughly engages and exhilarates you. Unlike sports that require prior lessons or a measure of athletic ability, players of all ages can just grab a racquet, a ball, and a court, and have a fantastic time. One of the fun things about POP Tennis is that everyone has their own unique playing style, so have a blast as you find yours. A POP Tennis court is smaller than a Tennis court, the racquet/paddle is shorter and the ball less lively. Additionally, the net is lower and the players serve underhand. These things make POP Tennis easy to play. The major benefits for players are that the rallies are generally longer than those of Tennis, there is more exciting net play, there is less court to cover and there are no overhead serves to learn. As a result, there is far less running as well as wear and tear on the back, legs, feet and shoulders. Croquet Where style and grace find their place in American leisure. PGA National is pleased to be the home of the United States Croquet Association. Encompassing five beautifully manicured lawns, our Croquet Club has the largest complex in the western hemisphere. Membership opportunities include classes, team activities, league events and the exciting member-guest Croquet-AThon. Special USCA clinics are available throughout the year in addition to private lessons. The USCA National Club Team Championship and the United States vs. Great Britain International Challenge Cup are among the major tournaments regularly hosted at PGA National. The Croquet Club, with its courts, professionals, and festive championship events, offers residents an unparalleled opportunity to participate in this most delightful and dynamic sport.
