# Dubai Residential Properties Price Index (RPPI)

Dubai Real Estate had over 84,196‭ ‬real estate transactions in 2021‭ ‬worth almost AED 300‭ ‬billion‭. ‬The value of these transactions‭ ‬is the highest its ever been in the recorded history of Dubai Real Estate‭. ‬Compared to 2020‭, ‬the volume of transactions grew by‭ ‬66.3‭ ‬percent and the value of transactions grew by 72%‭.‬ Year-on-Year increase in value was 110.19‭ ‬percent‭, ‬increase in sales volume was 74.77‭ ‬percent. 59.6‭ ‬percent of sales transactions were in the secondary/ready market and 40.4‭ ‬percent were off-plan. The market witnessed a 58.45 percent year-on-year increase in terms of volume and 70.81 percent in terms of value. Year to date, the sales transactions were remarkably higher than the total sales transactions in 2021 in terms of volume and value of transactions. While the volume of total sales transactions grew by 46.09 percent, the value grew by 60.67 percent. 2021‭ ‬had 61,241‭ ‬sales transactions worth AED 151.07‭ ‬billion. In November 2022 the villas/townhouses monthly Index recorded 1.343 and an index price of AED 2,189,579. In Q3 2022 the Overall quarterly Index recorded 1.383 and an index price of AED 1,315,810. In Q3 2022 the Apartments quarterly Index recorded 1.444 and an index price of AED 1,232,604. In Q3 2022 the Villas/Townhouses quarterly Index recorded 1.276 and an index price of AED 2,134,295. In 2021‭ ‬the Overall yearly Index recorded 1.193‭ ‬and an index price of AED 1,133,776. In 2021‭ ‬the apartments Apartments yearly Index recorded 1.201‭ ‬and an index price of AED 1,041,679. In 2021‭ ‬the Villas/Townhouses yearly Index recorded 1.198‭ ‬and an index price of AED 1,961,679.
